Barnduster Gran Fundo 2024
Come Join The Fundo!..
SOLD OUT. On June 15th, 2024, at the inaugural Barnduster Gran Fundo gravel ride, in support of Sisters Trails Alliance!Â
Similar to the social, fun-loving ride style of a Gran Fondo, though well under the 75mi standard distance, this scenic 40-mile looped ride takes participants from the heart of charming downtown Sisters, OR to the shores of beautiful Suttle Lake and back.
With an emphasis on fun, the Barnduster is an untimed, mostly self-supported ride, designed to bring gravel cyclists of all levels together for a day of riding and revelry. With the goal being to enjoy some good company, highlight the beauty of the area, celebrate local businesses, and raise funds for Sisters Trail Alliance. The Barnduster takes place in the outdoor playground that is Deschutes National Forest, Trail Butter's stunning backyard where recreational opportunities abound.
Riders will start at Fir St Park in Sisters, OR and travel out to Suttle lake Lodge, where a boxed lunch will be waiting for them to enjoy lakeside, before looping back to Sisters for post-ride fun at The Barn or a place of their choosing.Â
