Hey Trail Butter fans! Will McKay here. I'm excited to introduce myself to this community! I work as a mountain sports photographer making images of climbing, trail running, and skiing. On top of that, I’m also a die-hard Trail Butter fan & ambassador. I’ve been using the product for years from climbing in the French Alps to skiing Volcanos in the Western United States! I’ll be sharing a few of my favorite trail running images to spread the stoke - something we could all use a little more of right now.
The photo above is from an all-time trail running trip to Chamonix, France last August. @natalie.loree and I explored the valley to be the best of our abilities, from forests to the alpine. The Chamonix Valley is one place I’d love to visit again and again and again.

This image is from a quiet little morning in Arches National Park. The park is known mostly for it’s pull off views and roadside attractions but hidden in the far reaches are some pretty beautiful backcountry runs. Surrounded on all sides by huge red walls, I was constantly in a state of disbelief.

The final image and one of my favorites. This is another photo from Chamonix (I have so many favorites from that trip) of one of the last days hanging around in the valley. @natalie.loree and I did an awesome 4,500’ climb out of the city centre to the base of the granite spires where we were treated to an absolutely beautiful sunset with even better summer temps. And the best part? We stuffed our packs with croissants and TB!
